Pyrotek, a world-wide leader in high-temperature metallurgical support, has an opening in Canastota NY for an engineer with at least 5 years of engineering job experience, a B.S. in mechanical engineering (graduated with at least a 3.0 GPA from an accredited school). The successful candidate will have experience in thermal processes and furnaces, a working knowledge of refractory materials and their uses, an understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and the ability to read electrical drawings and schematics. Also required is a working knowledge of combustion systems and the NFPA code requirements. Project management skills, along with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously are a must.
