SORBERMEL ALR

SORBERMEL ALR is made from a reinforced aluminium faced open-cell, flexible, melamine resin based foam, featuring a delicate three-dimensional filigree network structure, formed from slender, and hence readily thermoformable filaments.

This foam structure provides SORBERMEL its unique sound absorptive properties. The melamine backbone exhibits excellent resistance to hydrolysis and combustion. The use of a reinforced aluminium facing enhances mid to low frequency absorption and provides additional protection to the foam from mechanical stress and dirt, oil and liquid ingress. It also enhances the fire and thermal insulation performance of the foam.
